Guidebook for New Students
Many new UGM students want to excel in their university life, but few know how to do that. This guidebook is a solution.

The Insight
- We surveyed 116 people: 79 new students, 19 who planned to enter UGM, and 18 senior students.
- Ambition was high. 95% of new and future students felt excited about university, and 55% wanted to focus on academics while joining many activities.
- Confidence was high too. 94% felt sure they would succeed. But practical readiness was lower: 41% didn't know any senior students yet, and 39% didn't know the campus map.
- Faith mattered. 97 of 98 new and future students wanted to grow their Islamic practice during university.
- The product idea passed the test. 73% rated their interest 4 or 5 out of 5, 98% said "yes" or "maybe" to buying it, and 71% picked Rp20K-30K as a fair price.
Challenges
- New students were excited and confident, but many started without practical know-how or a senior to ask.
- Many Muslim students slowly drifted from their religious values after starting university.
- Existing guides were scattered, and none gave practical advice made for UGM students.
- The organization had never launched a digital product before, so success was uncertain.
